Due to growing concerns about the spread of COVID-19 and the importance of maintaining our community's health, Boys & Girls Club of Missoula County has made the decision to postpone our Blue Door Banquet scheduled for March 28th.
Our number one priority at the Club is always the health and safety of our kids and families. With school closures in place, our team is working hard to make sure all 450 of our kids are taken care of these next few weeks. Along with protecting your health as event guests, postponing the Banquet will provide our team the time to focus on our kids and families who need us most. We are continuing to operate our full-day Spring Break Club for families this week, prioritizing parents without flexibility and those who are first responders.
This has been a tough decision for us, as we rely heavily on the generous support of community members, like you, through these fundraising events to ensure we are able to keep our Club doors open to our kids and families who need us.
We apologize for this inconvenience. We plan to hold this banquet at a later date this year once it is safe to do so. We will be in touch with all of you once we have set a new date for the event. All tickets purchased will be honored for the later date and we hope you are able and willing to attend at that time. If you have a conflict with the new date, we ask that you consider gifting your ticket to a friend or converting the value of your ticket purchase to a tax deductible charitable donation to BGCM, it would be incredibly appreciated during this uncertain time. Of course, if you would like a refund of your tickets - now or in the future - please email me and I will get the refund issued immediately.
Wishing you all good heath and a little time for self care,
Katie and the Boys & Girls Club of Missoula County team
